Wax & Putty Kryolan Soft Putty – Malleable SFX Wax

Kryolan Soft Putty is an easily modelled soft special fx wax with particularly good adhesion characteristics. It is perfect for alteration of characteristic facial features and also good for wounds/laceration simulations.

To apply; use a palette knife to remove the desired amount of wax, place it on the skin, and shape it from there. One overall shape is achieved, moisten your fingers with either gel or water, and smooth out the surface of the wax and make final adjustments. Smooth and level the edges, blending out into the skin to hide the join between skin and wax. Apply a translucent powder to remove any moisture, then apply a thinl coat of prosthetic sealer to the surface of the wax. You can then apply your desired colour make up as required.
